The stats are ugly too...

    Titans up to the Colts finale last season (13-2)

    Offense
    Points/game: 25.0
    Yards/game: 326.2
    Passing yards/game: 185.1
    Rushing yards/game: 141.1
    Turnovers: 17

    Defense
    Points/game: 14.1
    Yards/game: 287.2
    Passing yards/game: 195.1
    Rushing yards/game: 92.1
    Takeaways: 31

    The Titans since then (0-6)

    Offense
    Points/game: 14.2
    Yards/game: 325.0
    Passing yards/game: 200.5
    Rushing yards/game: 124.5
    Turnovers: 14

    Defense
    Points/game: 24.0
    Yards/game: 341.5
    Passing yards/game: 259.8
    Rushing yards/game: 81.7
    Takeaways: 6

    The most glaring, IMO is the turnover ratio. Going from +14 to -8 (in just six games) is a disaster.

    But, hey... at least the offense is generating more yardage!!! :suspect:

    Pretty interesting, actually. From 326 yards/game to 325 on offense, yet 25 points/game to 14. Exact opposite trend on D - from 14 points/game to 24.

    Yes, the D is giving up 65 more yards in the air each game (feels like more) - but yea the killer is the turnovers. PER GAME, we gave up 1 and got 2 - and now we're giving up 2.3 and only getting 1.

    That's 2 extra drives every game lost on offense plus 2 extra drives every game given up on D. TD and a FG on each = 10 points both ways. 20 point swing. U-L-G-Y.

    we just weren't that good last season. Sure, we were a playoff team, but if you ask anyone watching from the outside in, they'll tell you we were pretty damn lucky to win 13 games.

    You can't be successful in this league consistently without a Quarterback you can count on. Ravens are giving up a lot of points this year too, the difference is, they're quarterback doesn't suck.

    The Ravens +2 turnover ratio on the season doesn't hurt either.
