So we keep hearing about the red-hot Colts. They're back. Hottest team in football.

News flash - struggling against Houston, San Diego, Cleveland, Detroit and then Jacksonville now qualifies a team as red-hot? The only team the Colts have looked great against in the past couple of months was (1-11-1) Cincy. The Lions, now the worst team in NFL history, were TIED with the red-hot Colts halfway into the 4th Q! Then they follow that game up with a stinker against JAX - needing a late 4th Q comeback to beat the collapsing Jags (who are 2-6 since their bye... 1 of the 2 wins against DET, who nearly ended their losing streak against the red-hot Colts).

Please. Ravens are hot. Giants are still hot. Steelers took a cool bath but could still be called hot. Colts? No sir. :disbelief.

I guess my only comment on this is that they have been winning, regardless of the margin. I watch them and consistently am flabbergasted at how receivers can just be open with no one within yards of them...consistently.

I think they are dangerous right now because they don't have to win by 3 TDs anymore to win a game.

The way i see it.. as long as we play as well (sarcastic) as the Lions for the first 3 quarters of the game and enter the 4th with a lead.. there's no coming back for Gayton who seems to excel only in the 4th, considering we're practically unbeatable when entering the 4th with a lead.

They've managed to pull out the wins, which counts for something. However, they aren't the same team that they've been for the last three to four years. They deserved to lose the first Jags game, the first Houston game, the Vikings game, and the Browns game. They might pull off a first round win if it's against Denver, but I could see them losing to the Chargers, and definitely don't think they'll beat us here in the second round.
