Did I say they didn't win games? No. I said they aren't football players. They have one job, to go out and kick. It's just a matter of semantics I guess.

So, is the backup kicker/holder a football player then?

 

Well someone has to hold the ball just like you say kickers do nothing.Still not everybody can catch and spin the ball in under a second.

Kickers do alot of other Sh@$!t special teams counts,and few a fake/kick plays ect....

 

So then I guess we should rule out QB's who can kick.

What about Ken Amato all he does is snap a few balls and thats it.Does that means his not football player?

 

He is also a linebacker who got some PT in the past, if you watched back then. He has other purposes.

Pure longsnappers are also not football players IMO. They can't even be touched while snapping. they will not get hit, and by your definition, getting hit hard is what makes you a football player, right?

Didn't we have a longsnapper a few years ago who was actually a magician by trade? If that doesn't tell you anything.

If people call baseball players and nascar drivers athles then kicker are to.They are playing in a TEAM sport so that means they are football players.They are part of the team and are more important then half the other players.

 

I don't call anyone athles. Especially not nascar drivers.

Ask the texans fan's last year with that kicker that lost them like 4 games they khow how important kickers are.
