You mean when VY had about 5 years experience in the NFL? That just shows that you can improve over time in the league. Which is exactly what we want Locker to do, but you need PT 1st. VY's rookie year - 2199 yards, 12 TDs 13ints, 66 QB rating VY's 2nd year - 2546 yards, 9 TDs 17 ints, 71 QB rating . . . Skip to 2010, VY's 5th season in the NFL - 1255 yards, 10 TDs 3 ints, 98.6 rating VY sucked his 1st 2 years. He had a lot of wins, but he had a really good D that helped a lot, but he improved a TON while he was here, he just needed experience. He was on his way to becoming a good QB, but his attitude and immaturity got in the way. Extrapolating what Locker has done in his 6 games this year (not counting 1st texans game), he is on pace to have a better year statistically than VY ever had (2455 yards ,13 TDs, 11 ints ) ... and Locker missed 5 games this year. If VY could improve so much over his time here in TN, then I am sure Jake will as well. Jake will put in much more time and effort than VY ever did, so I would expect the process to be faster for him as well. The truth is JL has very little experience under his belt. He will take his lumps now. He will have his ups and his downs, but in the end all of those experiences will pay off big time for us in about a year or 2 IMO. If it hasn't happened by then, even I will be hitting the panick button. But not yet.
