    it has dropped drastically in the past 3-4 weeks too.

    but i have to drive to nashville on friday morning, so its going to cost me some money to fill up a few times there and back...

    There is limitless energy freely available to anyone willing to go get it.

    In space.

    I for one am unwilling to cut back on my lifestyle, such as it is, in order to preserve an 19th century industrial economy. The only way forward is not in frugality but in expansion, and that means space. Unforutunatly the US has decided to partner with the Europeans, Russians and Japanese instead of going it alone to exploit the limitless resources of the solar system.

    My grandkids thank you for driving your original Hummer, not that girly H3 thing. The sooner that it is economically feasible to exploit space the better.

    In the mean time I was taught in school in the early 70s that Oil would be gone by the 1990s and that I should be expecting an Ice Age right about now.
