the only thing worse than harper starting?

2 years ago...and yeah he did, not like that proves anything, though. The guy is done. Seahawk fans were elated to get him off their hands.

 

1st of all if Herndon was as bad as people make him out to be NO WAY our GM who knows the Seattle roster very well would bring him in. Also, Herndon is much better playing the run than Hill. Of course that applies to most High School CBs as well.

Hill was so bad that if he stood still with his eyes closed on every play it might have been an improvement. By standing still at least he'd have a shot at getting in someones way every now & then.

Griffin at corner may have had to give up a big cushion to keep players in front of him but if nothing else he would have tackle Hall where he blew through Hill.

 

I'd almost prefer his standing still, that way we can wonder who blew the coverage for another 30 seconds rather than having to see him trailing the play in the corner of the camera every down. It's a little more drama.

 

Anyone who would say that after what we have seen the last two weeks obviously is biased or something. Harper is very solid, above average against the run and Hill is very below average against the run. Harper is average in pass protection and Hill is in the lowest Jenkins category.
