Tomorrow will be very interesting. Some of the Titans guys made it seem like Hill was a sure thing and now we have the WR position to look at. If we're getting rid of Nate then we better have a clear upgrade like a Jennings or Welker kind of guy, not an injury prone and slower Kendall Wright.
Also wondering when we'll take a look at some CB's or wait until the draft. Hawkins and Amano need to be cut now and hopefully we restructure Hass's contract soon. We'll probably have one or two more big signings (name or contract) then depth players.
So far in the off season we have:
-Upgraded the OL by adding the best pass blocking OG in the game.
-Became more versatile at the TE position and at a way cheaper price than previous starter.
-Added a legit #2 RB to help with short yardage and give CJ a breather.
-Upgraded the DT position with a big body who can stuff the run and eat up space.
-A quality depth signing at LB that was much needed, can play out and in.
We still need to get another DE, we could using another starting caliber CB, and we need more guys on the OL. Safety is something else to look at but only for depth. All of this can probably be addressed in the draft, so far I give this off season an A+.
i'm hoping we pick up a DE in FA cause im going to be pissed if we take ansah...with the way this has played out i could really see us trading down in the first round...
