Could be worse, I suppose... it could be directed by Bay.

The only roles I've ever like of Afflek's were in Mallrats and Boiler Room. Other than that I've never liked him as an actor and I don't really like him as a person based off interviews and whatnot.

The sad thing is this movie could suck balls and it will still make insane money because the masses don't give a crap about script, story, dialogue, or directing. As long as it has fight scenes and 'splosions!!!

    I like it.

Also, i always thought batman should be taller. C. Bale, listed as 6 ft (probably being generous), was great but i always thought batman should be talller.

Affleck listed as 6'4" will look the part. More than likely going to bulk up as well.

I'll give it a shot. Can't be worse than Clooney.

True... but the guy "representing" The Batman should be correct.

Maybe second-coming of Affleck will surprise us, who knows...

The difficult part about Batman - at least what I've always thought - was how you cast it.

Some are better as Batman than as Bruce Wayne. Keaton was a damned good Bruce Wayne... but an adequate Batman, at best. I mean, he surprised me - to be totally honest.

Bale was a good Batman and a pretty good Bruce Wayne - Nolan not attached, and who knows how good we'd think Bale was, you know?

I could see Kilmer and Clooney as Bruce Wayne... horrific as Batman! Better writing and directing... probably better Waynes, but just not right as Batman.
