This is about the manliest string of movies I can recall coming for quite some time.

The Expendables - Throwback 80s action film, sure to be full of machismo and broken limbs, with some nice one liners thrown in.

Machete - Looks to be very cheesy, over-the-top, and violent. Some genius castings in DeNiro and Don Johnson (!?).

Piranha 3D - I was as skeptical of this film as anyone, but it looks like a positive gore-fest, judging from the 9 minute clip just leaked. There will be sure to be plenty of boobs, appendages (some of them very, er, sensitive to men folk) being ripped apart, and some utterly ridiculous moments. Oh, and Ving Rhames is shooting mutant-piranhas with a shotgun. Yeah, sign me up.

WARNING: NOT SAFE FOR WORK OR THOSE SQUEAMISH OF VIOLENCE. ALSO SOME NUDITY.

So gentlemen, don't shave those beards and mustaches, do a couple of push-ups before bed, and prepare for good ol' fashioned "man movies"!

Pirahna looks like the worst low-budget film I've ever seen. 3-D money exploitation at its finest.

I officially cannot wait for Piranha. Loved the original and expect more from this one. Eli Roth's head squashed by runaway boats. Helz yes.

Piranha looks terrible. The type of movie you'd be embarrassed to even be seen watching so you'd spend most the movie faking one of those 'oh my god, I'm not taking this serious' laughs just to remind everyone else.

Expendables looks like one of those movies where they just get every comedian/funny movie star in one film and it always sucks. I wouldn't expect any different just due to a genre change.

I know of the phony Grindhouse trailer and an old jungle flick called Machete.
Is that what you're talking about?

I can't wait to see the Expendables.

I think it's going to be really special. The chemistry betwwen the cast looks great and i think they knew they were making a hit.

Stallone is an intelligent guy and managed to recruit all the relevant action icons into one movie. No mean feat in itself.

If it makes money they're all signed on for a folow up according to Stallone.
