Maybin's biggest problem was attitude. He did not try or work hard. A lot like Kenny Britt. He even allowed himself to get down to 225 lbs while playing DE. Is Barr a bad attitude guy?

Nothing Ive seen suggests he has an attitude issues. But his pathetic 15 reps on the bench may point to poor work ethic.

Barr is very agile, but light and gets moved around too easily. Thats not the type of player you shoot for at 11.

I think that may be where the comparison is.

Looks like Jake has ditched his walking boot and recovering well.

yes I do considering this draft is a qb heavy draft and why not! Jake is not working out for us and you need to face the facts! A rookie can come in and play a full 16 game season, he will have as much development as locker has in 3 years damnt!!!!!! C'mon man we need a QB! I was hoping for this guy but last year was it in my mind!

If we do get the first overall pick though perhaps... we could draft...

Thought this was worth mentioning. On Monday Whisenhunt said Locker is on the field with the 1st team offesne getting the cadence set. Also expects Jake to take most the reps in OTA's, but wants to be careful not to burn him out and will be looking to add a 4th QB to the team.

Even if the Titans draft a QB in the 1st 2 rounds, I think that the starting QB job will be Jake's to lose. He already has the NFL experience under his belt (albeit not as much as he should) and I would expect a new system to do a lot for Jake.

He should give us a better chance to win compared to a rookie Week 1.

What happens during the season will be the key IMO. If Jake gets injured, and the Titans have a 1st/2nd rd QB come in and look good, then there is probably no turning back. If Jake stays healthy and plays well, then there is a decision to make (let Jake walk, or trade the new QB)

Jake said going into his 3rd NFL offense in 4 years has made him well versed in all philosophies. He's ready to put in work and prove he's the right guy.

Also, he will hopefully have some semblance of a run game for a change
