Doesn't matter if it would actually do anything or not. I'm betting the NFL will want it that way.

They do know people go to Vegas to lose all their money and get s*#% faced ... typical Saturday night all nighter in Vegas ...

So who do they think is waking up at 6 am to get ready and go on a Sunday in Vegas to sit and watch the Raiders vs the Texans??

A lot of hungover people in those seats ...

About half a million, which is slightly smaller than Nashville. But like Nashville if you branch out to the surrounding areas youre looking at over a million people. Las Vegas has the numbers, NFL teams wouldn't even be linked to a town that wasn't a real possibility.

What about a playoff game? I MIGHT visit Oakland if that were to somehow happen.

Oakland has a slim to zero chance of moving to San Antonio. They even bought land a couple of years ago in hopes to use it to build a new stadium of moving.

But the Spurs and their ownership run this town. The Spurs are pretty much the only thing here and they are pretty much viewed as gods here and have so much control. When voting would come, the Spurs Ownership would oppose the move cause it would be a threat to the long term financial well being of the NBA team.

On top of that, any of sports team in town, the Spurs pretty much buy. The AHL team got bought out by Spurs, Sports & Entertainment. The Soccer team here that has grown a good size loyal fan base, Spurs ownership bought that, added on to the stadium and is making a push to convert them to a MLS team within the next couple of years. Any big concerts or large events that come to town are usually at the AT&T center, which the SS&E is in control of.

Last I heard of Oakland coming to SA, I heard the only way this city would get an NFL is if an owner was willing to sell to SS&E or if it was done as an expansion team.

Sprawl in Vegas is in full effect.
The little color blip in the middle is where the out of towners stay.
    The rest are locals..
I think they easily support an NFL team.
