Yes his first two years here he was a very inaccurate passer and made it difficult for wr's to get YAC. But he improved on the and became a very good accurate passer. He also fumbled quite a bit and quit using his legs as much which I didnt like, but his passing made up for him shying away from his legs so much.

When it came to him giving interviews all he ever said was it's not about me, it's about the team after big wins or big games by him. He was a very unselfish player. His biggest flaw was trying to make everyone happy. He hated it when people boo'd him and he lacked a tough mental game early on in his career but he improved majorly in the regard in his last year and half here. He also sometimes struggled against a 3-4 defense. Oh and the steelers always had his number!
    UrbanLegend3 high fives this.

I remember them fine, and yes winning is all that matters at the end of the day. We think Locker needs an oline and defense comparable to the one Vince had before we decide about him. I think Locker is going to be a good QB for us if we protect him, that's my opinion and you have the right to think differently. Notice I said earlier in this thread that I think he could start for at least 1 team in the NFl, the Jets, I was serious when I said that. Now can we please get this thread back to it's original purpose, I actually like the idea behind that.

Your memory obviously sucks if you think Vince had great defenses. ONE year he a great defense and that was in 07 when we went 10-6! His rookie year they were ranked like 28th or something. The year we were 0-6 our defense was in the bottom 3! You are either bias or just making up this memory thing.

If your posts about Vince were more like this in general you wouldn't get so much crap about them.

I'm not saying Vince always had a great defense, just that they were better than the one we had this past season. Vince did have a great oline in 2009, and the defense was terrible his last year with us. I remember the jags game his rookie year when our defense scored more than our offense.

Yeah that Jags used to have his number until he beat them in 08 and his first start back against them in 09!

Not going to argue with you anymore after this post, it's not worth the time. Just for the record Vince didn't finish the game against the Jags in 08, KC did. I think sitting down in 08 was the best thing that happened to VY's career after getting drafted. He got to take a step back and learn for a year, something he needed to do from the start.

The win still counts towards his record. He started the game and when he got injured they were still winning!
