That's Dunce Waynes boy you are talking about.

ON ESPN (yeah i know) they said they had word that the Vikings would've benched Ponder this season if they had a better backup behind him.

I actually watched a bit of that game (Viks/GB) yesterday, but it starts pretty darn late so couldn't finish it.

But wow, Webb sucks!! The guy is just as, if not more, inaccurate than Jake...

He really was awful. That said, getting your first snaps of the year in the playoff at Lambeau isn't exactly a recipe for success. Tough spot for sure. I feel bad for the guy. He'll no doubt bear the brunt of the blame for the loss.

yea, I did the same thing every morning before school when I was a teenager.

Point is, anything short of a broken or dislocated elbow, you should be out there. Everything I have heard is making Ponder sound soft. Hell, if Locker takes heat for missing regular season games with a dislocated shoulder, then Ponder deserves more for a playoff game.

Thing is, neither deserve the heat. I heard on ESPN that Ponder's passes were terrible in pregame warmups. It might have been even worse if Ponder was out there.

Has it really come to the point that we can't make fun of a Vikings QB these days?

And Locker actually played after he dislocated it the 1st time, It wasn't until the 2nd dislocation that he actually missed any real playing time. And I think that was more about giving it time to heal properly so he didn't re-injure it rather than Locker not wanting to play through pain.

Sounds like Ponder just can't deal with the pain.

What is it you guys don't understand about him going out and throwing, and his passes having no zip and looking awful? Feel free to keep acting like you have any idea what you're talking about though.
