The Future and beyond

I believe our two main needs are QB (unless the Vince light comes on) and a defensive scheme change, most of the players are fine but our defense is based with getting front four pressure and we cannot do that anymore this year. There's a lot of good guys on D that may or may not be good in a new scheme.

With the upgrade at QB and a defense that wont always have us playing from behind I think it would make a more balanced, less mistake prone offense.

 

heres how to fix DBs: draft eric berry, trade griffin for a 3rd round pick or better, retire harper, do w/e it takes to get the best CB in free agency, sign pacman jones now.

i mean, are jason mcourtny or mcFAGgins, 7th round scrubs, really better than pacman? cmon son

 

I know that we don't need a safety, but Eric Berry has HoF written all over him. Teams that pass on HoF because they aren't at a position of need don't tend to do so well over time.

 

lol i always said we should re sign pacman. No risk at all, he said on his twitter he wants to be a titans and we can sign him for the vet minimum.

 

I think we could keep Dinger if Fisher leaves. He wouldn't be handcuffed by Fisherball and he's really not a bad OC at all. Plus, he's got familiarity and knowledge of the players already, less turnover. Definite defensive philosophy change, and that starts with the HC. Bye bye Fisher

 

Dinger isn't creative enough IMO

 

You can say that about any Jeff Fisher OC. I believe the problem is Fisher. Norm Chow is one of the most creative guys in all of football, Dinger had some very, very good years as our OC and OC of the Denver Broncos. I think these guys are just handcuffed by Fish.

 

The offense is always the same nomatter who the OC is.

No secret that it's Fisher's O. Remember the stories of Heimerdinger having to get him drunk in order to loosen up and let him have more freedom? (and suddenly our O was amazing)
