Maybe I misunderstood them "shutting down" Strasburg, but I thought they were just resting him for the rest of the regular season and saving him for the playoffs? But from the looks of it, he's done for the year (playoffs included)??? That's insane.
If my White Sox don't make it - i'm rooting for the Braves. Huge Chipper fan... he's the reason I wanted to play 3B and wanted to grow up to be like Chipper.
exactly. I'm still holding out hope there will be an announcement that Strasburg could return for the playoffs. But unless we win the World Series without him, I will be furious with Nationals management. Didn't think anyone in professional sports could be this stupid.
