The dishonesty of bongo.

Wants to combine comments about reggie bush made before he was drafted with comments made just today.

His criticism of bush relying only on speed were made today. His comment about bush being better than LT were made before he was drafted in 2006. I guess that's his idea of context. :sad2:

This is how you do it. Let's say there is this incredible young heavyweight fighter named mike tyson who is about to fight for the title. Everyone expects tyson to win but you stick your chest out and predict he will get knocked out. Same thing next fight and the next so on. Finally in tyson's 10 title defense he really does get knocked out. Now you can claim to be a genius for calling this huge upset when in reality you have been wrong 90% of the time!

As long as nobody remembers those times you were wrong. As long as some poster like rolltide doesn't come along and shine the bright light on past failures.

I have had my moments of utter "keyboard rage" with RollTide before, but I have say he may be on to something here....
Take it all with a grain of salt. Bongo (from my understanding) is in some part of the Titans' medical staff. I have always wondered how the coaches, players, and other staff would feel if they knew or saw some of the things he has posted....even if it is, as he says, things he "hears".

You know how there are those on message boards (and in life) who have their opinions... and they seem to come across as if their opinion is always correct and you are an idiot if you don't agree or buy into it????

That seems to be Bongo in a nutshell.

Maybe not the exact, but it seems like I remember something to that effect.

I don't think he's on the Titans medical staff but he is a doctor and I think I know what kind (pretty specific and high end) but I won't say since he won't. But I am pretty sure I know who he is and that he's a specialized doctor and I listen closely to anything he has/had to say about Hope's injury b/c of it.

And I'm pretty sure he gets most if not all his stuff from scouts, titan scouts and other teams' scouts.

How the hell is that not relevant??

Because if he's not who he says he is, it's just a blind defense. It's like me saying that a trade will go down and when it doesn't and I'm dead wrong, I just use the excuse that "plans change". If I'm wrong, I'm just wrong, but if Bongo is wrong, then plans changed. Nice standard there. At the end of the day, your prediction was still wrong. If, in fact, you did have inside information, then we'll be able to see that over a long period of time because you will be right more than other random posters like myself. I'm not sure if that's the case or not, but it doesn't seem like bongo is right all that often. The only saving grace here is there are a couple of times that bongo has called something pretty specific way before anyone else, which seems to indicate that he has at least more information than me.

For the record, I'm not saying that I don't like Bongo's posts (he seems to have some limited inside information at times, after all) or that I ignore them. I take them with the same esteem as any other poster that I respect, but that posts like his last one just piss me off. Grown men don't stake credibility on internet message boards. Sorry, it doesn't make you cool, it makes you look immature.
