AFC teams are winning every NFC-AFC matchup. We have 4 teams with losing records compared to 10 in the NFC. Ther'es gonna be at least four very good teams left out of the AFC playoffs.

All of these teams will be in the AFC playoff race:

    Den
    Mia
    NE
    KC
    Balt
    Hou
    Cinci
    Tenn
    Indy
    SD

Hopefully things will even out because right right it looks like we'd probably be the third best team in the NFC but its gonna take 10 or 11 wins just to make it in the AFC

Which is why we need to win the division. Which is why that loss to the Texans hurts so much.

Wow, I didn't even think about this but you are absolutely correct. Before the season everybody was saying how elite the NFC was and how bad the AFC was. I think things will correct themselves a bit, but who knows. I don't think New England is a good in previous years. The match-ups with Indy and Houston will be huge later in the season. Having Jacksonville in our division is nice as it should be two auto wins. The schedule is favorable and the only game I see as an automatic loss is Seattle. The other games are winnable or at least should be competitive. I think 10-6 is reasonable at this point.

I'm with sawdust, we must win the division. We are due, I don't just wanna squeak into the playoffs I wanna roll into the playoffs with a #3 seed or better. Our D is legit and will continue to get better and so will our offense. As much as I want our divisional rivals to lose we still have to win our games so that is most important to me. If we handle our business everything will work itself out. Today was a great win over a tough conference rival.

Way too early to worry about that stuff. We don't know who is good and who isn't yet....

wait until atleast week 8 before we start even thinking about playoffs. As crazy as this league gets one week, it can all change the next week.

Miami and KC will come back to reality before mid season so I wouldn't include them.
