Yeah thanks a lot Jeff. Thanks for sticking to your guns and not admitting that you were wrong about Vince. I mean, it's only costing the team wins. No big deal. Even though the team's winless, you can still sleep well at night knowing that you didn't sell your ego out.

Way to go Jeff. Take a team that has the best record in the league, #1 seed with home-field advantage and make em leave the dance early. Then if that wasn't enough you take that same team who should be every bit as good and you throw em out there with a geriatric imitation QB who rode the coattails of his great teammates last year and expect him to be VY. Hello, we already have VY type playmaker on this team. And he's rotting away on our bench. Way to go Jeff. Super job. You should be enshrined into the Hall for your bang up job.

I agree with your post except for number three. I think he should be treated just like they treat the players they think they're done with. Just like they treated McNair. He should show up after the season and be told that he can't come into the facilities except with an escort and that he is no longer under contract so we would appreciate a quick cleanout and get out from him. Then he needs ot be told "no hard feelings, it's just business-good luck in your future endeavors!" Finally, as he is walking out they need to kick him as hard as they can in the arse and tell him that's for sticking with Kerry Collins way longer than you ever would have Vince!

Not unlike a lot of you I also think Jeff is overrated. At the best he is an average coach and when I look at his record and he accomplishments I know I am right. But to me this whole franchise is in disarray and it begins at the top with Bud Adams.
Everyone in the front office needs to hit the street and the organization needs to take a new road with a new attitude. Its time to change like most of the other teams have done. Our attitude and our philosophy is outdated !
Fisher the NFL has passed you by and if you will not change with it, then you need to get out of the way and let someone else lead this team !
Now with all the said....even as pissed as I am right now........I will still support this team. Through thick or thin brother....through thick or thin....

True. I will support this org as well. But let me tell you, supporting an organization when you know the coaching staff refuses to adapt to the times, whilst watching that same coaching staff lose the team, is kinda like watching your teenage child hang out with a bad crowd and you can't do anything about it.

Why can't Fisher and Dinger dump their ego/pride and make some adjustments instead of being so damn stubborn?

Fish is definitely stubborn about starting VY, but the team's lack of success this year is a direct result of their success last year. Eventhough the team is old, other than Fat Albert they decided to keep the same personnel. Huge mistake!

The last thing Fish is gonna want to see is VY come in and pull the team out of a hole this season. Not that I think its gonna happen, but if it did he would look like the idiot for not having VY out there the whole time. We'll see I guess.

what do you guys think realistically. Im an avid fan, but im in Jersey, I dont hear any whispers or anythign around town. I only get what kuharsky gives me lol. what do you think the chances fisher gets fired this season?

Im just sitting here thinking, going into next year theres nearly no hope. I know they wont do anything in free agency, they will prob draft a RB and a few TE's and a 4th round work out warrior type CB who "might" be a solid returner, and then we will go into next season like we did in 04,05, and into 06.

If fishher gets fired and the team gets a jolt, I will feel like anything can happen. I would have hope.

at the same time though, the Titans have only ever had 1 coach. Once fisher is gone, he is gone. there is no turning back. Literally an era in tennessee will end it will be very awkward seeing someone else do the monday press conference, and there is no guarentee that we will even like the new guy.

What does Vince have to do with this or last season? How can Jeff be wrong about Vince because we're 0-5? If he was wrong about Vince, how did a team go from booing their QB off the field in week 1 to going 13-3 to finish the season?

Don't get me wrong, Collins isn't the answer. I PLEADED for us to go after Cutler, but we signed this bonehead to a 2 year deal paying him WAY too much. But this VY blind faith is absolutely hysterical. If you truly think this dude will win a playoff game (much less 3-4 in a row to get a ring) in this league, please hook me up with your drug dealer.

I don't know what bigtimetitan was refferering to either, but you sir have blind judgment. Most of us are saying Vince has not proven he sucks and can't win a game. He has had nothing but success with this franchise. Up until 08. And we all know it was more of our defense just like 07. But Vince deserves his shot with our upgraded offense because obviously kerry is a no go right now. Vince is continuously put in no win situations. Jeff didn't want vince. So when 07 came, instead of upgrading our wrs, he gets a rb bust. Then VY and our mediocre offense ride the defense to the playoffs. And a first round exit. We go out and draft another rb, lucky for us he was a stud. But still did not help vy and our passing game. KC takes over. Our running game excels with cj an lw, which improves the passing. Along with a better offensive line which gave kc all the time in the world. The following year, jeff finally decides to draft a wr for kerry collins..hmmm.... and here we are.
