And they do seem to play harder with Locker out there, seeing their QB get out there trying to make things happen on every snap and never giving up on a play spreads throughout the rest of team. Knowing he's willing to run hard, head first to get a first down even with his injured shoulder has to make the other guys feel like they're letting him down if they don't give the same type of effort. That's one big ingredient this team has been missing since Mac left, a tough leader that never says never! Lets hope if nothing else comes of this season that we've at least found our all elusive franchise QB to build a winning team around that can be a serious contender again soon!

Jake Locker is a leader and has all the intangibles you want in a QB. If Locker didn't get injured we would be in much better shape to make the playoffs. Maybe we could've beat Minnesota or Houston and definitely a win against Indianapolis.
