how does that make sense? The members of our WR corp do not change the fact the most of the guys in your secondary would not start on any other team in the NFL.

I'd concede a little simply because there are more spots in the secondary and the Safety position needs an upgrade here in Houston for sure. But as far as cornerbacks go, we are pretty set for the future... especially when we lock down Dunta (who was franchised) for a long term deal.

Dunta Robinson- came back 70% last year and was a big reason for turning our season around. 100% now and is a very sold cb in this league and would start for many teams.

Fred Bennett - Had the best numbers for any rookie CB in the league in 2007. Had a big sophmore slump. He is working hard to bounce back and get back into the flow and reports are he is impressing in camp. Will be #3 for now. Jaque Reeves - Legit top CB talent, just needs to turn his head around. Even still, this CB is alot better than you think. See breakdown here from John McCLain:

Antwaun Molden - First round talent, taken in 3rd round due to competition he faced in college. Was a STUD on special teams... a very good sign in this league. And got hurt. Back 100% and ready to add more to the team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfsGgyDNyx8

Draft picks Quin Glover and Brice McCain - youngsters looking to make mark on special teams. Word is so far Quin Glover is a standout making multiple interceptions and is all over the ball.


We have planned for the future with all the draft picks focused on CBs the past few years. This regime feels like you can never have too many CBs in this league.....and they have been stocking since they arrived. They pretty much said to expect a CB in every draft. Last year it was 2.

Safety is and will be a high priority with possibly a first rounder next year... lots of studs to choose from. Taylor Mays was a target for us until he went back for senior season.

Always a big reason left out... is the lack of pass rush from the front 7. All day, makes a CB toast no matter who he is. A major focus on the front seven this offseason was planned and executed. More pressure, means more fun for the secondary.



A lot of growing up/healing to do... but this secondary will be far from God awful.

first of all, i dont know any of your secondary players...because they are not very good...

second...the texans suck until they prove they can do something other then choke.
