Let me see. I responded to a moronic comment by a CowGirl fan.

Hoffa said something about the quality of Texan draft picks.

I responded with the FACT that the Texans have more of their original draft class left than the Titans have from the same draft class.

Hoffa comes back with team records.

No I would say the trucker changes the subject by striping his gears.

looks like he concluded that the proof is in the pudding... that despite a poor draft that year the Titans manage a better overall record than the Texans since. It's not changing the subject so much as he is correlating to results. You appear (to me anyways) to be changing the focus of your posts to Hoffa himself. Hoffa is merely using interrogative reasoning to make his point. He doesn't (or rather shouldn't) expect you to come around to his way of thinking but honestly, his inquiry, in my estimation is very much related to your point on the Titans having a poor draft that year. Just wait until the Texans have a better single season record than Tennessee and then talk ****. K?

And what kind of record have those TWO extra drafted players on the Texans roster produced compared to the Titans record (especially head-to-head) during the time frame you mentioned?

Still want to brag what great draft experts the Texans have been, or would you like to admit the Texas Toliet is where those picks have gone? Hmmmmm?:)

Texan draft picks stink so bad they have a three year funk. See the 2004 draft. They can't give those picks away.
Overalls buddy... maybe the Texans get jinxed picks... perhaps their strategy is to trade out of their jinx spots as much as possible and hope and pray they don't fudge up those golden opportunities (i.e. David Carr, Mario Williams, Travis Johnson)

Have you ever noticed a typical draft for the Texans often involves two or three trades?

That happened in 2004 when the Titans finished the season 5-11 and the Texans finished 7-9. I realize the Titans fans choose not to remember the year the Texans swept the Titans.

Oh yes, that magical 2004 season for the Texans with their 7-9 record (still the best in their franchise history).

I remember how it started that year...

I hear they still have brisk sales of DVD's about that magical 2004 Texans season. Underalls probably has a plaque on his wall commemorating it, as well as the book "Texans 2004--The Year We almost didn't Lose as Many Games As We Won--But Did"

Then their is the banner hanging from Reliants rafters, "2004 Texans Greatest Record Ever", still a milestone they may never equal again.

Yeah Underalls, that wonderful 2004 season in Texans history provides you with enough smack to still bring in to our attention even today.
