...back to the Texans "sucking", I think it would be great for the AFC South and for football if they finally get over the hump and beat out the Colts/Jags for a playoff spot. Personally, I like them as a team more than Indy and Jax. I'm not completely sold on Kubiak having what it takes but I have to admit I like the general direction he's taking the team and I like the organization.

It would be a great rivalry if Houston and Tennessee battled it out for the next decade or so, and a pleasant change of pace from pass-wacky Manning and organizationally-challenged Jacksonville. It's tough to build a team, and every year what used to be 2 wins on the schedule has become less and less of a given. As long as they don't knock us out of the playoffs I'm rooting for them.

Hey I read your forum to get information about your team but when you start silly threads and stick them in the rival thread or your version of the smack forum I respond. As stated by another poster it is all in fun. At least this board gets that. We do not have posters like Brando and swtbound07 and hervoyel who down rep posts for having the audacity to think the fans and city could have done a little more to keep the team. Yeah Bud screwed you got it but if the team was so important to so many people like they whine on your board implies they could have done something and did not. On top of that no one showed up the last season just telling the team they were no longer welcome. I remember watching the games on TV and seeing only a couple thousand in the stands. No one forces you to spend money at the games and that was how you could have stuck it to Bud but instead they just did not come, did not support the team and did not support the players.

The Texans have no trouble beating the Jags. Del Rio has got to be one of the most over rated coaches in the history of the game. He gets huge contracts and does nothing. Each year they find a new excuse why they fail to make the playoffs and the media eats it up. They are like the team version of Carr.

Believe me when I tell you, you're not the only one that doesn't care for some of the members. There are many!! And, for the record; negative repping people sucks. I don't do it unless its done to me.

That last part is a crock of crap. You either know it by now or haven't read several posts directed at YOU explaining all that happened with the Oilers.

Support the players?? Puh-Leeeeeeeease!!! Seriously, put down that bong full of west coast whacky weed. Earl, Dan, Moon, Dr. Doom are among several players that are revered here.

Even worst when you are a rival fan and you have to claw and scratch to get even a pos rep and some of them can sting you for a point or more when they neg rep which takes another 6 months to get back.

As for not supporting the players I think it is well known that you celebrate the old but what I was referring to were the players of the team that was moving. Support involves coming to the games and cheering them on threw thick and thin and as that team moved no one in Houston did. They did not chose to move the team. It is not as if Bud came into the locker room and sat the team down and asked for a survey of how they would feel about moving. If your work decides to move its head office from Houston to Dallas do they come in and ask all the secretaries what they would think about it? No!
