New swing Tackle that Alex Gibbs is big on. Afforded us to finally get rid of Ephraim Salaam... thankfully. Played for Miami... went in 3rd but only slipped that far mainly due to weight issues. Just was always under weight and when we signed him we were able to successfully diagnose his condition, treat him, and he regained the weight and has worked his way to being our main back up at Tackle.

Umm... yes, really. Last time I checked we were the best team... No, we didn't win the Super Bowl. But, what would have happened if CJ didn't get injured... please fill me in. Would we have won the Super Bowl? Hell yes we would have. Everyone in their right mind knows that.

The best team doesn't always win.

Recent examples (past couple of seasons):
    Pats losing the Super Bowl
Texans winning 8 games... That's a lot of upsets right there. How they've been able to pull off 8 upsets in each of their last two seasons is beyond me.
Ravens (garbage team comprised of murderers) beating the Titans (still the best team)

Let's see here... who put up the most yards against the Ravens in the past two years? The Titans. Who was the only team all season to put up over 300 yards on the Steelers and the only team to score more than 24 points against them? The Titans. Who has an 11-3 record against the Texans? Oh yea, the Titans. Wow, what a shocker! Who is the only team in the NFL that has never finished better than third in their division? Oh damn, is it the Texans? Yes, I believe it is the Texans. :ha:

Also, if you can't say your favorite team is the best in the NFL then you're probably not a true fan... I know it's different for Texans fans since they REALLY, REALLY do suck, but c'mon man... lighten up a little.

"What if this what if that" Playing the what ifs are always fun and always gets you nowhere

"Then playing the "true fan" card, typical Tacks fan.

Again, I'm not the one coming into a fan forum just to talk smack... Your smack talk is completely irrelevant... in case you didn't already realize that.

It would be extremely low-class if I went to Texans forums and said "your team sucks," right? Right! That's why I stick to the forum that is designated for my favorite team. Now, I'm pretty sure everyone here welcomes fans of other teams, but not when they act so foolish and immature.

You might want to re-read the thread and every other thread thats started about the Texans. Whats clear is that most every Texans fan will tell you we have basically sucked and stumbled out of the gate as an organization.... having to start with an expansion team is no fun. And telling us that we have sucked and have been horrible yada yada yada isnt really inventing the wheel here. Big deal. And Texans fans will also tell you that until we literally prove it on the field... all this improvement and hype will mean nothing. In fact.. if we regress this year then Kubiak will probably lose his job. But the funny part to us is that merely a few Titans fans have any clue about the currentTexans and would cut off a pinky before ever acknowledging that this team has clearly improved, has made the proper moves to get into position to take the next step, and could very well get off the 8 win schneid this season. i.e. your comment about us basically pulling off a miracle to even get 8 wins when in fact you could boil it down to a Sage fluke choke as to why we didnt win 9 games really. Doesn't matter... most NFL fans know the deal.

I would be the first to admit I was wrong about the Texans and this regime if we regress next year.. no qualms about it. Thats reality. Something that Titans fans after basically being handed one of the best coaches in the league will definitely have to deal with sooner or later. Making the Super Bowl after like a year after the team arrived has really made the *** fans some of the most arrogant fans I have ever come accross. Thats the truth. I mean Houston and Baltimore have been a part of the NFL for decades upon decades.... we are no rookies when it comes to the NFL. Been there done that. The titans obviously have a great team and is ran very well. But I keep warning you titan fans that despite it all.... it would only take ONE great season for the Texans to pull a Cardinals of this year to get into position to win it all to erase EVERYTHING you guys think you have built and hold over us.... and immediately crumble that high chair you think you guys sit in and that will obviously never dissappear.

imo....I think the future of the division is the Titans and the Texans... that is unless Fisher leaves, or Kubiak does not prove himself this year. I bet Fisher himself would tell you the same. The slate is clean, we all have the same record..... and bring the fricking season on already.

First off Andre Davis is nothing to brag about he's a below average receiver. And no I wasn't making fun of the fact that you hosted Ramsey because I didn't know that until just now.

And Givens just got decimated with injuries he had no real history of injuries unlike Chris Brown. And Crumpler is fine for a #2 tight end which he was brought in to be.

Well, to be completely honest... it's all for fun (at least for me). I would never talk about how bad the Texans sucked without some fool coming in and giving the Titans hell (like in this thread). Plenty of us here (including me) have said that the Texans are improving... there's no denying that. The only real knock I have on the Texans is their coach. I don't think Kubiak is for real... he can't watch his own team play when they're in tight situations... he's done it several times. How can you give constructive critisicm to your players if you can't see what they're doing each and every play?!

I wouldn't doubt that the Texans wind up in second place in the AFC South next year in front of the Colts and Jags. Peyton's getting older, they just lost their best coach in franchise history, and they haven't made any additions... and the Jags... well, they're clearly headed in the wrong direction. I feel bad for Del Rio because I think he's a really good guy. I thought the trio of coaches in the AFC South (excluding the Texans, of course ;) ) were the classiest guys in the NFL. I just don't see Kubiak as a legitimate head coach in the NFL.
