OK so Schaub has 1 full season as your starter out of 3, good job. He finally did what he's supposed to do. And if you consider 9-7 "Winning with Schuab" then good for you. Everyone outside of homerville Houston will tell you to be a winning QB try making and even winning a playoff game, but I know playoffs are a foreign concept to "y'all."

And for the record I don't live in Tennessee, I live in Ohio and the Titans are a hell of a lot more relevant than the Texans here.

Will a Texans fan please rebut my claim that the Texans start 0-3 with a logical explanation of why the Texans will not, in fact, start 0-3...?

I got them at 7-9 or 8-8. Should sound familiar to them.

Follow the bouncing ball. YOU brought up the Saints earlier when R-T was talking about Passing. Like just because we had a great passing game means we should have won it all or something. Like thats all there is to a team. Then R-T brought up the impact of the running game for the Saints and you shrugged it off like it was nothing. The running game was probably the most main ingredient in the Saints success last year and was what helped them propel after a 7 and 8 win seasons. Again, Drew brees threw 35 interceptions in 07 and 08, and only 11 last year. The running game takes pressure off as well as keeps your D off the field, yada, yada, yada... Pffft... the Colts. Its called an exception. There are a few. And there is only ONE Manning.

And its hilarious that some titans fan is trying to call us the jacksonville state of the NFL. Its crazy talk coming from a titan fan and everything that comes with it. No one cares about Nashville and the boring titans. I mean PLEASE.

And what was your prediction for the Texans last year? 4 wins?

You'll have better luck waiting for Nate to go a game without droping a pass than that

Week 1. A running game. The Texans have been up 17 points twice in the last 4 games vs colts, and were up 2 out of the last 4 in the 4th quarter but couldnt close out, and each game has been decided by less than a TD. Thats because we could not keep our D off the field. Either we scored quickly, or went off the field too quickly. An effective running game keeps your lead safer while keeping Manning off the field. Its simple. A solid running game takes our offense which is predicated off of the play action in the FIRST PLACE, to a whole nother level. Which in turn helps the defense by staying on the field more.

Week 2. Its the 4 win redskins overhauling their roster and putting in new systems... and an offensive system that takes years to fully install. Denver fans warned us of that the second we hired Kubiak. Not sure why this is so surprising to get a win here.

Week 3. The Texans are not going to let the Cowboys walk into Houston and leave with out an absolute fight. This one, just like the Colts one (which the line is at -2 currently) is no lock either way. Heck, just go to the friggin Cotls message boards and they will tell you all the same stuff I am.

Good work and research. I appreciate the hour you spent writing this post. It all looks great on paper, BUT, Texans start the season 0-3.

Oh, my bad. You guys are right. Chalk the Texans up to going 0-3. They have zero chance at winning any of the games. Riiiiiigght.

Few more points on the Colts. LT is a concern for them, and Saturday has also been banged up. O-line has not had the greatest camp and preseason in terms of gelling, protection, etc. If there was ever a time to get after Manning, now would be it.

Cushing out for us definitely hurts.
