Texans sign Matt Leinart

Silly Texans... should have learned by now that having a good passing game alone won't get you to the playoffs. We can easily make the playoffs without a 1000 yard WR. If Britt or Gage or Washington has 800 yards or more, we'll be in the playoffs. Any of those three are capable of that level of production if they put a solid year together. Gage would have had it last year if not for the back injury.

Ive been trying to say that for a while now, in relation to THE TEXANS... one where the offensive scheme is built around the running game. It is definitely key to us. Although some around here would and have said that it doesnt matter, we should be in the playoffs already with our not the best passing offense in the nfl but still should be good enough its all Schaubs fault offense. :ha:

I guess I would also be more worried about your defense than your WR group.

Our defense got better yours got worse. And just because Schaub made it through one season doesn't mean he'll do it again, or have a "winning" season. Bragging about 9-7, you guys are too much.

Oh sorry you're right. We took out some underperforming players added Witherspoon and Morgan. Also should be better at corner. You lose Robinson and Cushing for 4 games. Yes, I'm sure our defense will be worse than last year and yours will be better than last years. What a crazy conclusion I came to.
