I had joined the other board before this thread started so it wouldn't have helped. It's not a big deal. But thanks anyway.

Houston has had football for over 50 years. Zero Superbowl Appearances. Nashville has had professional sports for 11 years and we were on the cusp of winning one superbowl and we've been closer to the promise land than the texans have even dreamed of being.

Lets look at the Texans playoff record. Oh wait, they haven't made it to the playoffs. LOL How about that new stadium that you didn't wanna build? You guys coulda had your superbowl appearance in 1999 if you woulda just built a new one anyways. I would much rather build a stadium for an established powerhouse NFL team rather than wait 5 years without a team have the terrible texans.

I've been to Houston several times. I know first hand that houston, tx is the armpit of America.

    Worst Cities in America:

    1) Indianapolis, IN
    2) Houston, Tx
    3) Baltimore, Md

    Need I go on?

    Ryans knows too.

"It was a devastating play for us, but when he scored, the way the fans erupted, well, that was a blow to my heart," Ryans said. "The way the fans erupted hurt even more. When he scored, it was like this was his home, like he played for the Texans."

Thats the funny part. The Majority of pro football in Houston was with YOUR current organization. No matter what you sniffed, its as good as the Astros making it to the World Series and not winning correct? So, whatever smack you run on OUR history of pro football.... its been given to you. YOU now have that same organization that hast existed for SO MANY years yet no Super Bowl. They are OUR hand me downs. And right now, your sloppy seconds are looking up at us in the standings.

And you really have zero clue about Houston. Its clear. Its not the same Houston that was ravaged by the Oil and real estate crash of the 80's and 90's. It has experienced a BOOM in many areas and like I have already posted... IS NOW one of the best cities to work, live, and play in. Get over yourself Tennessee. lol... Tennessee. It barely registers on my radar enough to comment about it.

And I just noticed you are living in Louisville Kentucky??? LMAO!! That place couldnt hold Houstons jock strap. We host Final Fours, Super Bowls, Grammys, All Star Games, etc,etc,etc...

You ever been to Louisville? We got the derby. The biggest and best party on earth. 150,000-200,000 people gather here each year for the greatest 2 minutes in sports. That's alot more people than a final four, a superbowl, the grammys, or an all star game attacts and we have it every year.

If you aint been to derby, then you ain't ever partied. The derby is about as american as you can get. What other sporting event has run without interruption since 1875? The derby attracts more A listers in one year than Houston's ever attracted for anything.

Houston has never held prominent international championship events such as the Ryder cup. The 37th Ryder cup was held at Valhalla Golf Course here in Louisville, about 10 minutes from my house. Probably one of the most beautiful/difficult courses in the entire world.

You know what they say about texas, aint nothin but steers and queers.

    Louisville!?
    Talk about a terrible place.
I went to the Derby this past year and talk about a disappointment.
The actual event was pretty cool since we had a box but we had to walk through the infield aka "hillbilly heaven", that place was pretty much summed up the city.

We stayed "downtown" if you could call it that, nothing going on except a few strip clubs and a lame entertainment venue.

Ghetto/trashy people roamed the city from downtown to where the derby was, I was REALLY suprised of how little the city offered compared to every other large American city.

Houston has hosted the Superbowl TWICE.
    The MLB all star game
    NBA All Star game TWICE

    2 NBA championships
    Hosted world series game
    MLS championship.
Hosted multiple major internation hockey games
    Shell Houston open
I wont even count our hockey or college teams.

    What does Lousville have?
    Nothing special at all.

I could go on for paragraphs but it will just wait my time to talk to someone like you on this subject.

I do not know why you even started this, this game is between the HOUSTON Texans and TENNESSEE titans, neither which you live.

And some of you accuse texanstalk for "smoking crack".

    Anyways back to football..

This sums it up completely. You have absolutely no idea about your franchise's history.

You might want to read the following before you spew that garbage.
