Terrelle Pryor...what pick would you use for him?

Stop acting like an idiot. He has excellent physical tools. Mobility, a big arm and at least enough accuracy to complete 65% of his passes. If he reads defenses so poorly then why didn't he have more than 11 ints? Why did he have 27 Tds? He would be throwing the ball to the other team as much as to his own based on your assessment.

His work ethic is an issue no question but mechanics and footwork can be improved you can't take a guy and make him faster or taller.

Now continue to repeat yourself over and over it seems to be an obsession of yours.

Teams draft athletic Qbs all the time with the hope of using them in a wildcat or as a situational player. The Dolphins used a damn mid 2nd rd pick on little Pat White. Kordell Stewart was a 2nd rd pick for the Steelers. You act like it is a big crap shoot to use a mid rd pick on a guy.

What if we used a 4th on him and used him in a slash type role for 2 years while evaluating his skills and learning curve as a QB?

There is no way a guy with no accuracy and no ability to read defense puts up those types of numbers against big ten defenses. If his comp rate was 55% with an equal numbers of Tds to ints you would have a point.

You could have 3 Jerry Rice caliber Wrs and he still has to throw the ball within reach for them to catch it and not right to the other team.

Amazing that Ohio State was 2nd in the big ten in passing efficiency. Only Wisconsin ranked higher. This is a conference that had several QBs who will be in the nfl some day.

Minnesota was 4th in the big ten in pass defense and he had a great game against them. Arkansas was 5th in total D and 4th in pass defense in the SEC and he had a fine game against them.

He had a 186 passing rating against Penn State one of the big ten's better defenses.


Take away Jake Locker's games against Washington state and Syracuse and see what his numbers are.

 

Yeah our defense would really suck with Carlos Dunlap and JJ Watt on the team.
