Definitely the thing that ate Mariah Carey. I was trying to count how many chins she had. I just ended up estimating.

It was pretty decent..but utterly predictable and cliches everywhere. There needs to be bigger scale battles I mean damn. Fighting 2 or 3 robots at once constantly is weak, fight a freaking army for once. The giant was the only redeeming battle, the motorcycle bots were cool but didn't do much other than fancy driving. Story was average, acting was average aside from the Marcus guy.

Why would anyone write, produce, film this crap. Especially after her last disaster of a movie!?

Sam Worthington's performance was great. I've come to the conclusion that Christian Bale continually over emphasizes his voice. I closed my eyes a couple of times in Salvation and heard Batman's deep, overbearing throaty voice.

I never saw Monster's Ball, but it was supposed to be a really good movie. Apparently, Halle Berry was fully naked which is always nice.

But... that's about the only thing this movie has going for it. It's going to suck; plain and simple. It's clear that writers/producers are beginning to run out of ideas.

Halle Berry gets naked in this as well?

There's plenty of ideas and great writing out there. There is still no movie version of Confederacy of Dunces. Hollywood doesn't care about that though. They've trained the audiences to accept mindless action sequences as a replacement for compelling drama so they crank out one stupid film after another.
I saw a preview for the new Sherlocke Holmes movie. Seems Sherlocke is now an action hero. ACD is rolling in his grave..

That trailer really pissed me off. They're completely changing what Sherlock Holmes is all about. I guess they are just trying to make it more accessible or whatever for a bigger audience but it's nothing like what Holmes should be. The old series with Jeremy Brett as Holmes was definitely the best adaption.

^ awesome that we would have the first and probably last mention of Jeremy Brett here on these boards, but I have to go with Basil Rathbone as my preferred Holmes (with the exception of Peter Cushing's portrayal in Hound of The Baskervilles)
