Tennessee Titans dismiss defensive coordinator Chuck Cecil

    Problem is these guys will want more than a 1 year contract/they won't leave for a job with 1 year security.

    That remains to be seen. Jeff can and will have another head coaching job immediately and can take the new DCoor with him.

    But.... all signs point to an in-house promotion.

    This makes the Washburn decision even more strange. If he did see differently than Cecil on defense, he had to know Fisher was about to let Cecil go yesterday. I can't believe that Fisher would let Cecil go a day AFTER losing Washburn.

    McGinnis is the only coach with the experience to run the defense and his unit was horrible last season.

    Right now, only Dinger is on contract and he may have to step down. I would not be surprised to see Fisher the only one remaining by mid-February.
