No, its true.

But a 4.59 40 does not equal that on a football field with pads. Clearly, as everyone has seen from his time here, that Stephens is not a fast guy on the field.

Combine numbers

I agree that running a 40 vs running in pads is different, but he has primarily been utilized as a blocker since he is a very good blocker. But he has shown in his limited opportunities receiving that he is not slow. It is a shame he was forced to sit behind Scaife's sorry butt for so long.
