Actually risky picks can be fun, I picked the Skins in titanbuoy's group for week 1

I picked the Cards... barely avoided an ignominious "one and done" in my own frickin' pool.

Ditto, TB. At least we've used them up now, and don't have to depend on them again.

Yea I know, but it's no biggie. I was looking good up til the end. It may work out better for me not to have one more league to keep up with. I'm busy as most are this time of year maintaining a few teams in different leagues. My fantasy team scored me over 150 points, so I'm doing something right.

Does a survival pool take up all that much of your time? Should be less than two minutes a week...

A fantasy team score doesn't really mean a lot. I had a team that scored over 180 this week, but it includes individual defensive players. Don't worry, everyone is sure that you're an awesome fantasy football player, you don't have to justify anything here. Well, except maybe picking Cleveland.

Lock of the week philly -3 at Detroit

It doesn't take much time to pick in the survival league, but my fantasy league does take up some time. It's between some close friends so bragging rights mean a little more than if it were a league of random people. There's some discussions going on so it does keep us busy more than your average league. As for 150+ points not meaning much, wrong. That's a great weekend in any league. Now those 180 points you mentioned, yes, those mean nothing.

I made a survival league of my own... everyone is saying they don't have enough time for it.

It literally takes 1 minute per week... maybe 3 minutes if you go back and change your mind on a pick.

Green Bay is the obvious pick this week.

Anyone ballsy enough to take the Raiders over the Rams this week? I'm considering it... but as of now I've gone with the week's obvious choice (see above post).
