Why have I not been as incredibly excited for this game as everyone else? Have I lost my soul?
Perhaps it's just been a matter of Brawl overshadowing it in my hype-ranking; Mario Kart hasn't garnered my interest either, when I know that it really, really should.

Galaxy sure looks pretty. And maybe once I get the control in my hand, it'll all come to me. Just over a month away now for the Aussies!!

    Novemeber 12 - US
    November 1 - Japan
    November 29 - Australia

I'm looking forward to the Japanese reviews
this game's been in development for a LOOOOOOOOOONG time, so it should be a worthy evolution of the series

Probably because it's yet another Mario game. Hard to get excited about the same tired game with better graphics over and over again. Nintendo should really just let mario die, along with zelda, but it's really all they've got.

    Zelda-Twilight was/is a phenomenal game
Paper Mario was a refreshing take on the series
Metroid Prime is as strong as ever

Nintendo has plenty of franchises to keep them afloat

and btw.... Galaxy is supposed to be quite different than Sunshine

Oh Gloat, you are such a cynic! :)) Don't mean to digress, but what kinda games do you prefer, anyhow?

I'm a big Nintendo fan, I've gotten into most of their franchises (yet to try Metroid, F-Zero or Mother though...) Mario Galaxy... so close! I'm starting to feel that excitement now, actually...

I am a cynic. Or, at least I play one on the internet. I just mostly don't enjoy cartoonish games. Just can't get in to them like I could when I was 6. Not sure why. I like most sports games, and then some FPS. COD2, Bioshock, Gears of War, Pro Evo Soccer, Madden, etc. I also liked all the Prince of Persia games, so I'll probably like Assassins Creed.
