It's good to see that some of you can recognize talent.

The few people who are in denial about Luck's abilities is amusing.

I see Douche Wayne or whatever his name is still doesn't know anything about football.

Luck has a noodle arm..... LMAO!!!!

Guy has a GREAT arm and is deadly accurate with it.

I guess all the scouts who have evaluated him 100's of times are wrong about his physical ability......

Luck may not ever end up as a great QB, but not because he doesn't have the physical tools.

I have no shame in saying I wanted us to draft VY... keep in mind I was 16 years old as well.

The entire 2005 season I wanted us to lose our games in order to get him in the draft. I got my wish and bought his jersey as soon as it was released.

Oh well. Looking back, I wouldn't have known who to draft at #3. There are a ton of guys from the 2006 draft that would've been great for us, but when you need a QB so desperately, it's hard to pass on a guy who beat USC by himself and won the Heisman. Leinart would've been a worse pick. Cutler would've been good, but we wouldn't have Locker right now.

Cutler isn't a guy you want to draft that high. He doesn't really take over games and is just kind of average. I don't consider him a franchise QB, just transitional.

That's what I'm getting at... he would've been good, but not great... not worth a #3 pick. But there were guys like Ngata, Hali, Joseph, and Mangold that could've made a huge difference.

Can you imagine if we traded back to #20 or so and had Nick Mangold as our C right now?! Teams would've given up a lot to move to #3 if they wanted VY. And believe me, a lot of teams would've loved to take Vince. All in hindsight though. That's the point... I can't fault that pick as much as it didn't work out. Pacman, on the other hand... I literally wanted us to take Aaron Rodgers and as soon as they cut to Pacman on the couch with his family, I just shook my head. We probably would've ruined Aaron Rodgers though and he probably wouldn't be a household name.
