Shoot, the league should buy him a new car... I'd pay extra to see it.
I want to knock that smirk off of Hines Ward's face tomorrow.
Surprised no one thinks it would be a penalty.
I'm not saying I agree with it, but a flag would be thrown. It would be considered unsportsmanlike conduct/using a prop or something along those lines.
It would deffs be a penalty, remember the bongo drums two years ago?
if he does it on the sideline he can do what he wants.
pulls a stooler rag out of his jock and stomps the crapola out of it in the EZ = flag
IT wouldn't be a flag because the Towel is not a prop. It's part of his uniform. Just like in 08 when he scored against the steelers and pulled out the flag and waved it. He didn't get a penalty.
if he does it in front of #31 im sure fin will assist him in removing his helmet
I was referring to stomping on it in the endzone... clearly would be a penalty.
And, the 08 celebration was a little different than stomping another team's "cherished yellow towel."
How sad is that though... that they care so much about a yellow cloth?
i always call it jiz rag with my steeler buddies lol
It DEFINITELY would be a penalty.
This is the NFL... you get penalized for doing hand gestures as celebrations. (see Samari's throat thing way back)
No way you can pull a predetermined prop out and celebrate with it.
