The Titans will be trying to push aside a familiar face on Sunday when they take on the Dolphins.

Defensive tackle Randy Starks, who spent four years with the Titans, is a big part of the reason the Dolphins are giving up the sixth-fewest points in the league. He’s got 18 tackles, 3.5 sacks, an interception and five passes defensed.

The Pro Football Focus website says Starks has been worthy of Pro Bowl status so far this season. The 6-foot-3, 305-pounder spent 2004-07 with the Titans before departing for Miami as a free agent.

“He’s a guy that left here and has done well,” Titans coach Mike Munchak said. “He played with us a few years ago, got a few sacks, and he has 3 1/2 sacks this year. He’s still moving well. He plays the three techninque, so we’ll see a lot of him. Containing him is going to be a big (key).”
