Do you not even realize you were the one making the black/white comparison in that debate?

Killing an animal is killing an animal was pretty much your argument.

Everyone else tried to point out the differences between "hunting" and "dog fighting". Particularly the cruelty involved in raising the dogs to become fighters.

But NOOOOOO... to the Gloat "killing an animal is killing an animal". Which is about as black/white statement as one can make.

I'm surprised the mods here will allow comments like "far too much logic for (GoTitans posters) to follow." Don't understand your need to throw out insults at other Titans fans.

actually it has nothing to do with being smart. Just thinking beyond the headline- something a lot of people aren't willing to do. Analyzation is a beautiful thing but most people make their mind up immediately and never explore any other path of reason.
Im no smarter than the next Joe but thank god i think differently.

    ana·ly·zation (-l-zshn) n
    ana·lyzer n.

I think Toronto was pointing out something a bit more like this:

    ana·ly·zation (-l-zshn) n
    ana·lyzer n.
    Synonyms: anal-yze, gloatyze, Deucewhip
Of the anus: anal-yze an entire thread; to represent falsely based on no factual criteria.

Oh. I wasn't thinking with the Beavis and Butthead'ish side of my brain, so I didn't catch it.

Alex- Again, you're missing key words. I said killing FOR SPORT is the same. Whether it dog fighting, or killing a deer for the sport of it.
That's why most of you were lost in the argument. You wanted to merge my sentences in to a stance that I never had any part of. And to prove that, you guys actually thought I was the cruel one. While I was simply stating the obvious. I don't hunt, don't support dog fighting, but of course the people that hunt don't want to see themselves the same as dog fighters. That's the only reason people argued against that point. People become defensive when they feel guilty. It's natural.

3801- lol @ the thought of me running from any sort of rebuttal on here. It's never happened. There may be threads that I've lost and didn't see to respond to, and there have been posts that are uninspiring- but I can easily find 100 threads of mine that people didn't respond to in debate. Doesn't mean they were wrong and are hiding. They could have gotten tired of posting circles. Could have forgotten about the thread.
It's usually the people that make the most mute of points that always claim someone is dodging them, too. Why is that?

I think posters just need to let Gloat be Gloat. :ha: Maybe I'm too tolerant.

    Black & White statement.

And that's because there is an enormous difference between dog fighting and hunting.

Unless you want to make it black and white...

Funny thing is you made it black and white. And when people tried to show that the difference between hunting/dog fighting isn't black and white, you became defensive that "killing animal in sport is killing animal in sport, and every poster here is too dumb to realize that".
