Can we get this looked at, its getting to the point now that sometimes I have to click refresh over and over until it pops up. I understand the need for advertising and not going to complain but it makes discussing (and especially game threads) extremely annoying. Using firefox, for what its worth. Thanks
you could try switching to Google Chrome, which I personally love. Or you know.....you could always try donating.......gets rid of ads all together.....
Each page of the forum should only load two ads for members. I've optimized the ads as best I can but have no control on how fast they load since the feed comes from another server. As I've said many times before, a forum is not designed for something like a game chat. It slows down the forum. We have a chat room but few utilize it during the game. Donors get no ads which is always an option. You also have the means to turn off the jerseys and signatures in your preferences. Both would help with load.
Completely separate issue but didnt want to make another thread. Anyone else getting lots of "webpage is offline" and "bad gateway" messages? (bad gateway was a new one today) Seems like it happens every other day and goes up and down time and time again. If you dont click refresh every few minutes, you may not notice it but I didnt know if it was a known issue or if Im alone
If you will, try to give me more details like your browser, etc. so I can mention it to our host (not that it may have anything to do with it). Screen captures are great. I don't know what would cause a "bad gateway" but can check into it. It never happens to me so the more info you can provide, the better.
