    well i tried but walmart wouldn't let me buy enough sudafed and i got tired of driving to all the different drug stores ;)

    Singulair is particularly good to avoid the CNS and vascular side effects. Plus you can take it before bed. Works on via a different mechanism. After a few weeks, you won't need to take it any more and you will be desensitized to your allergen for the rest of the year- sometimes longer.

    Sounds great - I've never gotten an allergy prescription though. Is it as easy as asking for Singulair?

    Ask your doc about it. There are relatively few side effects,but it does need a scrip.
