I only really disagree with the part I bolded. The speed CJ had was extremely rare. It's just not there anymore. You could even see the decline last season if you were paying attention.

I even heard Blaine Bishop say the other day that CJ looks like "about a 4.4 back" now. I've actually been thinking the same thing all season. And I know BB isn't the end all be all of football knowledge but I think he probably has better insight and judgement as far as determining speed based solely on watching the game than most football fans. I'd be willing to bet if CJ ran the 40 today he'd be a heck of a lot closer to 4.4 than 4.24, or even 4.30.

Not trying to say he isn't fast. I just think his speed is still getting overplayed by a lot of people.

I have not seen anything said about it, but CJ's big run last week looked strange. It did not seem like he turned on the burners and like he did not know which cuts to make. Its been a minute since I have seen the run, I just remember it not looking like previous CJ. Much better game last week, but we still need some improvement.

I'd agree with it deserving a high five, if that first sentence wasn't there...or if the thread only said 'Patience..'
