I wish we had film of this play, I was certain I saw an illegal block but didn't rewind on the DVR because I decided to go get more beer instead. Imagine that.

 

Or maybe it's mediocre coaching. No matter the talent, if the coach says you be here or be there on the field, or go this way or that way, you do it because he's the coach and you're not. jmo

 

Mnnh with Donnie Nickey,Mouton and mariani in special team's you know your gonna have problems.

 

The worst thing about that play to me is that Fisher didn't anticipate a trick play occurring. He should have known that a play like that may be tried from a team decimated by injuries and scratching to get a wins any way possible until Ben gets back from suspension. Yes, Mouton did lose contain very badly... dude even sucks on special teams. I can't remember the year we had good special teams, and that's really sad. If this team wanted to improve the special teams that badly we should have drafted Dez Bryant over Morgan, personally I think we should have. Not only would we have the best punt returner since Pacman, but he'd also be the best receiver on our roster.

 

Except when players either aren't very good (Mouton), or have other reasons for not playing well (like Griffin last year). Mouton blew that kickoff. He went WAY inside instead of playing disciplined. Hopefully he improves a lot between now and next season. He is a liability out there right now whether it be on defense or teams.

 

Where's our special teams ace Donnie Nickie at?

 

I half expect donnie nickey to levitate every play, just because he is so awsomely awsome.
