So what if Al is out?

We're down to 3 DT's. Al has had an injury history, and now has the dreaded hammy. Doesn't seem clear yet about how serious it is, but it looks like we could stand some depth there. Conover could be let go for a DT, but who? Is Mahelona out there? Anyone at all? Looks like we don't even have a PS guy available.

The rookie from Mississippi State could show something now, if he wasn't hurt :-/

Titans radio alluded to him pulling a "Mcnair" and sitting out practice this week but playing on Sunday..

We'll see, but we will be bringing someone in if they think he'll miss any time. I've been worried about how short we are at DT since Simon retired.

It sounds like Haynesworth will be able to go.

No reason for AH to practice at all. Let him rest. I also don't see that as "pulling a McNair" considering AH missing practice isn't going to hurt the defense.

Crowd around me at game had no love for AH when he was down. Everybody was shouting "Get up Albert.....wake up Albert.....Dinner time Albert....." while he was down. The funniest line I heard was "shake that contract under his nose- he'll hop right up."

I don't know, it didn't look fake. It looked kinda serious, but you never know with Al. Even so, I can't think of atime we've only gone with 3DT's. If we can keep owning TOP, and play Odom at DT some, it can work....but like the license plate says, "**** happens".
