I'd say if that were the case, we should trade young and try to get a draft pick for him in a trade. I am a big VY supporter, but I am not silly. He doesnt have the longevity of other quarterbacks because of his play style and vince is 27. Vince deserves to be a starter, but an additional first rounder does more for the team if rusty pans out, and there would be demand for Young.

Now Fisher is probably going to coach him, and talk him up to save his job. He still needs the axe when his contract is up. Thatll help, we need a more aggressive style anyway.

First paragraph is if Rusty pans out. We should all hope he succeeds tomorrow.

    Second oparagraph is true regardless.

EDIT: Fine, lets get off the draft pick people. You win, no one would trade for young. Happy now? The topic here is Rusty and what might be done if he pans out. If you aren't going to even consider the idea and have already labled him as a failure, or want to make posts dedicated to implicably bash Young, this isnt the thread for it.

EDIT2: Though I encourage people to add what they think the titans should do.

EDIT3: This is now a thread devoted to anything positive about Rusty, feel free to post about him.

Vince is already under contract for next season so we wouldn't need to resign him. No way we'd ever get a 1st round pick for him though.

He has all the physical tools, but unless god blesses him with accuracy in the next 24 hours, we could be watching a lot of 3 and outs tomorrow.

    1) Vince Young is under contract for next season, so there is no need to re-sign him.

    2) No team in the league will trade for Vince Young because he has a huge salary.

    Argument over.
