if any other QB throws into double coverage and gets the pass intercepted, they make a bad decision....

if Brady throws into double coverage (repeatedly) and Moss comes down with the catch for a TD, Brady is god, MVP and the next leader of the free world....

sportscenter just put up the Brady/Manning comparison stats

    By Week 7

    Brady: 27 TDs
    Manning: 22 TDs

they're projecting Brady to have 61 TDs

That's because he knows he can throw it up to Moss and he'll come down with it. Much like Culpepper used to do. But at least Brady throws it TO moss, rather than how Culpepper just threw it and Moss had to go fetch it lol.

RyansTitans, i never knew Mcnair was as good as Peyton Manning. Most teams dont stuff 8 in the box hoping Manning will have to throw the ball.

Marvin wasn't a 1,000 yard receiver til Manning was throwing to him? lol Talk about SPIN.
Harrison was only in the league for 2 seasons without Manning. And of those 2, he had 836 in one (ROOKIE season) and 866 in the other.
And that was with Jim Freakin Harbrough passing to him. So yes, he was pretty darned good and if you weren't expecting him to end up getting over 1,000 a season after his rookie year performance, you were confused.

Peyton is horrible under pressure as well. So if you give him an average o-line, he'd probably resemble Kitna more than Brady.

You guys should not bother replying to someone who says Brady is just a "decent" QB. Anyone saying that knows jack crap about football.

Manning has been doing all of his work with a plethora of first round picks at skill positions around him his whole career.

Brady did well without that. Now he has weapons like Manning has had his whole career.

Geyton has had : 3 first round RBs in Faulk, James, and Addai.
He currently has 3 first round WRs in Harrison, Wayne, and Gonzalez. He also has a first round TE in Clark.

No other QB in the history of the game has been as lucky as Manning. No other QB has had that kind of talent surrounding him at Skill positions.

He didn't even start the majority of the time in college. Where he played in college has nothing to do with anything. Just as Peyton playing at UT doesn't either.
