What does this matter? That does NOT make Texas the better place for winning college national championships.... which is all I said, by the way.

Ha! And my post about the 10 or 15 years prior to Saban?

I, and many, give two s***s about what a program did 30 years ago.

Especially now that he can play off the biggest rivalry in college football history for years.

Still, it is Saban he is loyal only to Saban in my mind. I wish he would go cause he is the best coach/recruiter in college football history.

Never said it was better. All I merely inferred was what is the difference now? Nothing is - unless you want to count the entire history of a school.

As of right now, fairly equal footing. Austin is better than Texas.

    Austin is a city.

    Texas is a state.

    You are welcome.

No, I'm your typical football fan that doesn't care what a school did prior to my birth or prior to my teen years.

It's great and all, but who cares in the here and now.

Saban should go to Texas. It will be easier to make the BCS playoffs and only play 2 tough games a year including whatever SEC SEC SEC team beats them. Ohio State would be 9-4 with ANY SEC schedule right now. Florida State, ok, they might be 11-1 regardless.
