more like 1999.
I can't believe ESPN even ran with that, it seriously could be a new low for them.
I don't totally care for the whole conference pride thing, I usually do root for SEC teams because I watch them the most but even ESPN and these other media outlets are making conference vs conference wayyyy to big of a deal. I knew somehow they would bring up ACC vs SEC after Miami won that game (which was a great game btw, love watching UF's defense).
I love the UT Vols. Only College I really care about rooting. Just give me the NFL!
Meanwhile in the Big 12..
ESPN's SEC hype is due to their deal together.
Not a coincidence.
Or perhaps the 7 straight national titles, the 4 heisman winners during that time, the most talent (according to recruiting sites), the best coaches, and of course the highest ratings.
SEC players caught getting paid again. Guys are DJ Fluker, Tyler Bray, Maurice Couch, Fletcher Cox and Chad Bumphis.
Bray already slipped last year when he said he's paid to win football games.
RIP Alabama's 2011, 2012 national championships. Vacated
They can't tie it to the program/coaching staff that we were aware of it, we also started an investigation on the Fluker matter already and Davis has been banned from the campus for some time now. Slap on the wrist at most.
Whatever happens deny deny deny usually works.
