    Well we got a good 4 inches here in the last few hours, about to set out to rescue my kid... should be fun, the place she's at in deep in the hills off secondary roads I know won't be plowed... then down an unpaved driveway that's like 1/4mi long.... joys of fatherhood

    By March all the tire cables will be on sale. Probably not in Tennessee but online you can find some good deals. I recommend them highly as they can still be used for snow, ice, and paved roads. I drive a Miata in Colorado when I'm not working and they keep me on the road.

    Tire chains, or "wiring", are illegal in Tennessee... well, the regulations are so intense, may as well be.
