My neck of the woods is expecting around 10-inches early tomorrow morning. That might make me 20 minutes late to work tho.
When I moved to CT I remember in middle school it was snowing insanely, and as a kid from TN I was like WTF are we still doing in this school, they need to evacuate. Then one of my friends told me the superintendent was from Buffalo NY. I was like where's that, dude said Canada LOL. I asked my buddy "we're never getting out of here are we", he said nope not til the day is over, we'd be there even if it was 2-feet of snow. And sure enough we never had a snow day for about 2 whole years.
Nashville closes schools for no reason..bunch of wussies
I'm a teacher/coach in Charlotte. We got out early yesterday, and we are out today. It is 11am and still no snow yet.
My wife teaches in Murfreesboro... What a joke the schools are around here. All they care about is who might sue.
You can sue a city for having school open during bad weather?
Kids could just not go outside, that would work.
Still nothing in the boro...
