Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky [IMG]Numbers that bode well, and maybe not so well, for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Silver linings: Both the kick and punt return average rank in the NFL's top 10. The average drive start for the offense after a kickoff is the 28.7-yard line. Opponents start at the 22.3-yard line on average.
Jacksonville has a top 10 first-down defense, allowing an average of 4.36 yards.
Josh Scobee is drilling the ball and has hit field goals of 50 and 51 yards in the last two weeks.
Storm clouds: The Jaguars have been terrible in the red zone on both offense (three TDs in 11 trips) and defense (seven TDs in nine trips).
David Garrard threw only three interceptions last year. He's got four through three games.
The Jaguars have been outscored 58-49 and outgained 919-835. The offense doesn't have a play longer than 34 yards, a run by Fred Taylor at Indianapolis.
