[IMG]Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky Numbers that bode well, and maybe not so well, for the Indianapolis Colts.
Silver linings: The defense has allowed only three touchdowns and ranks third in the NFL in red-zone defense, allowing only two TDs in nine possessions.
They ran much better against the Jaguars than they had in their first two games, aided by the return of center Jeff Saturday who missed the first two games with a knee injury.
While the Colts have given up a lot of yards, their defense plays better in the red zone. Opponents have scored only two touchdowns on eight trips inside the 20.
Storm clouds: The Colts have lost their first two home games in a season for the first time since 1998 -- Peyton Manning's rookie season. And Manning, who had a career passer rating of 94.7, is currently at 73.1 with four picks and three TDs.
The offense has to drive a long field. Only St. Louis has a worse average drive-start than the Colts, who take over at the 21.9-yard line.
In two of three games, both losses, they've allowed a defensive score.
