    if we never fired whiz, mularkey never gets the chance to appeal to aas. We shoulda kept whiz, and just got rid of him and Webster on black Monday, then no one would ever consider mularkey at all

    what do you think? If you could go back and stop whiz from getting canned then would you?

    Right on man! Honestly I can't argue your logic one bit. The only point I would make is that Whisenhunt probably would have screwed us out of the top pick by winning a couple meaningless games. BUT overall, you're spot on.

    Mariota would be a paraplegic if Whiz wasn't fired.

    And I realize Mariota was sacked 19 times with Whiz and 19 times with Mularkey, but the protection, as a whole, got much better as soon as Whiz was gone.
